So it’s a great MFP, but is it great for you?
It’s one thing to understand that an MFP can do a number of things. It’s another to understand what it can do specifically for you. What functions will you require? Do you need lots of finishing options for presentations, or just basic copy, print, scan and fax functionalities?
Evaluate the true price.
Knowing the total cost of ownership, or TCO, means considering the long-term upkeep and servicing of your device, how often you will need to replace supplies such as toner, and how much energy the device will consumer.
Don’t make it rocket science.
Having an MFP that can perform a myriad of tasks is great, but having an MFP that is easy to use is even more important. If you only require basic functions, don’t buy a complicated MFP. Prevent workflow hiccups by selecting a user-friendly device.
Be supported.
