Where We Started

Office Interiors was founded in 1991 by Jim Mills, John Patterson, and Ted Malpage at the Brewery Market in Halifax, launching a partnership with Haworth to deliver contract furniture solutions. In 1994, we expanded into New Brunswick with an office in Fredericton. As our team grew, we relocated our Head Office in 2002 to the former Moosehead Brewing Building in Dartmouth. Showrooms in Moncton and Fredericton followed in 2003, with Sydney added in 2012, extending our reach across the Maritimes.

In 2014, partnerships with Ricoh, Panasonic, and Kyocera enabled us to diversify into Office Equipment, Managed Print Services, Software Solutions, Mailing Systems, and Office Phone Systems. By 2019, our collaboration with Cabco Communications brought integrated communications and security solutions to our portfolio. In 2022, we welcomed Tommy’s Flooring and Lakeview Electric into our brand, reinforcing our role as a comprehensive solutions provider. That year also marked the completion of our new Dartmouth headquarters and our 30th anniversary.
